Sci-fi enthusiasts from the baby-boom generation are sure to get a solid dose of nostalgia from this double bill of surreal adventures featuring Starman, who fought interplanetary evil on late-night TV in America during the mid-'60s and beyond. Known as Super Giant in his native Japan, the cowled crusader was featured in four 80-minute films that were culled from nine featurettes produced by the Shintoho Company (an offshoot of Toho) in 1957-58. Starman's trademark blend of frantic action and primitive special effects are on display in both features (the second and fourth in the series), which pit Starman against diabolical invaders (in Attack from Space) and an alien brain's mutant henchmen (Evil Brain from Outer Space). Kids may find the goings-on alternately corny and disturbing (the mutants are scary, and Starman racks up a considerable body count), but old-school monster movie fans will relish this chance to catch up with an old pal. ----Paul Gaita

One couple Liz Walker and Cal Moulton, forced into the water by her enraged husband Dave Walker, gets taken by the leeches. When police refuse to believe Dave's story, he hangs himself. Soon after this, 2 more trappers disappear, the local Game Warden Steve Benton gets involved. He and Nan's father Dr Greyson realize that the people were taken by the leeches and the leeches live in caves under the swamp. Using dynamite, the 4 missing bodies are discovered and the leeches are destroyed.

While driving to his family’s country house, Cortner and his beautiful fiancée Jan Compton (Virginia Leith) get into a car accident that decapitates Jan. Cortner recovers her severed head and rushes to his country house basement laboratory. He and his crippled assistant Kurt (Leslie Daniels) revive the head in a liquid-filled tray. Jan's new existence is agony, however, and she begs Cortner to let her die. He ignores her pleas, and she grows to resent him.

Cortner decides to commit murder to obtain a body for Jan. He hunts for a suitable specimen at a burlesque nightclub, on the streets, and at a beauty contest. She begins communicating telepathically with a hideous mutant, an experiment gone wrong, locked in a laboratory cell. When Kurt leaves a hatch in the cell door unlocked, the monster grabs and tears off Kurt’s arm. Kurt dies from his injuries.

Cortner lures an old girlfriend, figure model Doris Powell (Adele Lamont), to his house, promising to study her scarred face for plastic surgery. He drugs her and carries her to the laboratory. Jan protests Cortner’s plan to transplant her head onto Doris’s body. He tapes Jan’s mouth shut. When Cortner goes to quiet the monster, it grabs Cortner through the hatch and breaks the door from its hinges. Their struggles set the laboratory ablaze. The monster (Eddie Carmel), a seven-foot giant with a horribly deformed head, bites a chunk from Cortner’s neck. Cortner dies, and the monster carries the unconscious Doris to safety. As the lab goes up in flames, Jan says, "I told you to let me die." In the year 1968, every day is the same for Dr. Robert Morgan (Vincent Price): He wakes up, gathers his weapons and then goes hunting for vampires. Morgan lives in a world where everyone else has been infected by a plague that has turned them into undead, vampiric creatures that cannot stand sunlight, fear mirrors, and are repelled by garlic. They would kill Morgan if they could, but fortunately, they are weak and unintelligent. At night, Morgan locks himself inside his house; during the day, he kills as many vampires as he can, burning the bodies.A flashback sequence explains that, three years before, Morgan's wife and daughter had succumbed to the plague, before it was widely known by the public that the dead would return to life. Instead of taking his wife to the same public burn pit used to dispose of his daughter's corpse, Morgan buried her without the knowledge of the authorities. Morgan lives in a world where everyone else has been infected by a plague that has turned them into undead, vampiric creatures that cannot stand sunlight, fear mirrors, and are repelled by garlic. They would kill Morgan if they could, but fortunately, they are weak and unintelligent. At night, Morgan locks himself inside his house; during the day, he kills as many vampires as he can, burning the bodies.A flashback sequence explains that, three years before, Morgan's wife and daughter had succumbed to the plague, before it was widely known by the public that the dead would return to life. Instead of taking his wife to the same public burn pit used to dispose of his daughter's corpse, Morgan buried her without the knowledge of the authorities. When his wife returned to his home and attacked him, Morgan became aware of the need to kill the plague victims with a wooden stake. An icy North American region, a Soviet bomber is shot down by an American fighter jet. The bomber crashes and its cargo, a low-level atomic bomb, explodes. The resulting cataclysm awakens a giant, prehistoric monster called "Gamera", who has the appearance of a giant turtle with large tusks.
Gamera destroys the American jet with his fireball and escapes into the sea. The monster heads to Japan and surfaces from Sagami Bay, destroys a city,[which?] and retreats back into the sea. Scientists and government officials hold a conference to discuss killing the monster.

»Die letzte Droge« ist die erste Spielfilmproduktion des Netlabels VEB FILM Leipzig. Die Dreharbeiten begannen 2003 in Bolivien und Peru und wurden 2005 in Deutschland fortgesetzt. Eine erste Schnittfassung wurde auf dem Fusion-Festival 2007 vorgestellt, aus der sich der 64 minütige Michael-Georgi-Remix des Films abspaltete, während Regisseur und Maintainer Stefan Kluge an einer neuen Schnittfassung zu arbeiten begann. Die Postproduktion wurde in den folgenden Jahren immer wieder unterbrochen, unter anderem für die Filme »Autobahn 38« (2008, 23 Minuten, Creative Commons BY-SA) und »Der Geist der Biker« (2014, 63 Minuten, Creative Commons BY-SA). Am 31. Dezember 2014 sollen eine 30 minütige Early-Access-Version der letzten Droge und der Michael-Georgi-Remix anlässlich des zehnjährigen Jubiläums des Netlabels veröffentlicht werden. Kluge plant die Fertigstellung der offiziellen VEB-FILM-Leipzig-Version des Films nach der Beendigung der Arbeiten an seinem Abenteuerroman »Libertas«.
