Departing a Caribbean eco-paradise on their return flight to the U.S. the vacationers and honeymooners aboard don't realize that their real adventure is just beginning. Hidden on the ill-fated plane are army ants, a super-organism comprised of millions of individuals, whose only imperative is survival. Emerging thru the tiniest spaces of the aircraft's interior as individuals they quickly coalesce into a black swarm and attack, to feed and or to defend themselves. Once they overwhelm a victim there is no escape. If that terror isn't enough there is a second threat to their survival when the pilot is refused permission to land, anywhere - because the ants are like the plague or bird flu that might not be able to be contained. The threat is considered so serious that if they attempt to land in the U.S. F16's are in the air ready to shoot them down. It's now up to the pilot, a woman who has her young daughter aboard as a passenger, to get everyone down safely. Somewhere. If you feel something crawling up your leg better hope it doesn't bite.

The Great Train Robbery is a 1903 American Western film written, produced, and directed by Edwin S. Porter. 12 minutes long, it is considered a milestone in film making, expanding on Porter's previous work Life of an American Fireman. The film used a number of innovative techniques including composite editing, camera movement and on location shooting. It is a common misconception that the film contains cross cutting, although the technique does not appear in the film. Some prints were also hand colored in certain scenes.

The film was directed and photographed by Edwin S. Porter, a former Edison Studios cameraman. Actors in the movie included Alfred C. Abadie, Broncho Billy Anderson and Justus D. Barnes, although there were no credits. Though a Western, it was filmed in Milltown, New Jersey. The film has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.

Brand of the Devil (1944)

A group of people traveling on a stagecoach find their journey complicated by the threat of Geronimo and learn something about each other in the process.

A film projectionist longs to be a detective, and puts his meagre skills to work when he is framed by a rival for stealing his girlfriend's father's pocketwatch.

Balazar, a genius who was killed by a robot orders his brain to be built into a machine and kept alive. Now he is seeking universal dominance.

Sci-fi enthusiasts from the baby-boom generation are sure to get a solid dose of nostalgia from this double bill of surreal adventures featuring Starman, who fought interplanetary evil on late-night TV in America during the mid-'60s and beyond. Known as Super Giant in his native Japan, the cowled crusader was featured in four 80-minute films that were culled from nine featurettes produced by the Shintoho Company (an offshoot of Toho) in 1957-58. Starman's trademark blend of frantic action and primitive special effects are on display in both features (the second and fourth in the series), which pit Starman against diabolical invaders (in Attack from Space) and an alien brain's mutant henchmen (Evil Brain from Outer Space). Kids may find the goings-on alternately corny and disturbing (the mutants are scary, and Starman racks up a considerable body count), but old-school monster movie fans will relish this chance to catch up with an old pal. ----Paul Gaita

Lone Ranger television episodes identifies the series that ran from 1949 until 1957. It had five seasons of original episodes. Seasons One and Two ran for 78 consecutive weeks without a rerun, but some in between years were made up entirely of reruns. The series starred Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels as the Lone Ranger and Tonto, except for season three when John Hart played the role of the Lone Ranger. A total of 221 half-hour episodes were produced.

In the American southwest the governor asks the Lone Ranger to investigate the strange raids on white settlers by Native Americans. Reese Kilgore a wealthy rancher wants to expand his land to include Spirit Mountain sacred tot he Indians. The Lone Rangers finds out that both of these events are related.
