Description
Edward Shaw a LA builder and architect is out of work. He meets Doris Hillmann who has a business proposal for him. They would buy land together, Edward would build houses, Doris would sell them and her husband Gus will contribute half a million dollars as capital. Soon after accepting the proposal and starting an affair with Doris, Edward finds out that their main interest is not the profits, but the key man insurance of $175,000. The younger sister of Doris, Madge, falls for Edward as well and tells him that Doris former husband died when his car crashed over a bridge. Now, Edward is drugged by Gus and barely keeps his car from going over the bridge as well.
